To celebrate World Food Day on the 16th of October, The George Institute hosted a discussion with Professor Dariush Mozaffarian of the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. Prof Mozaffarian provided a background on the burden of disease due to poor diets, the steps that can be taken to fix diets and food systems. Discussion following his presentation was facilitated by Prof Jacqui Webster and focused on the need for the implementation of sensible policy, with the added complexity of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
